MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He has made major global advancements into Latin popular music scene. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. In Medellin the year of Medellin, the Sony label La Industria Inc. released ADN the debut album of his long-playing career. It was atop the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached no. 8. Following that year, he collaborated with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca which reached number five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. He released Dopamina which was his top charting sophomore album in the following year. In 2021, he sang an duet with TINI's popular single Maldita Foto. 2000 also saw the huge song La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo is a renowned musician, born in a home with a music program. His mother and brother were also musicians. In interviews, he referred to the importance of music as a requirement. When he was a kid, he began learning to play the saxophone and the ukulele, and piano. Although his first choice of career was to be a veterinarian, his brother Julian convinced him to take singing lessons with the help of a Cuban teacher. The end outcome of discovering his talents in the field of singing changed the course of his life.
